Verdict

LEOMAR is fancied to atone for his Limerick disappointment last month, he found just one too strong there but it remains a solid start and he'll set a fair standard for the newcomers to aim at. Of those, Theydon Park and Vermeulen are very interesting. The former showed a pleasing attitude to dead-heat on his sole bumper run in England before switching to this up-and-coming trainer while Vermeulen could not be in better hands right now as his new trainer is flying. He was thoroughly consistent on the Flat and has the speed to worry plenty of these. A Year To Remember is gaining experience over timber all the time and should make his mark soon enough but plenty of the other have it all to do. 1. Leomar 2. Vermeulen 3. Theydon Park
