Greyed A (9/4), Gulshanigans (5/1), Viking Mistress (7/1), Mr Cardle (8/1), Just Joelliott (10/1), Champagne Chaser (10/1), Alberto's Dream (16/1), My King (16/1), Shambougg (16/1), Gonnabegood (33/1), Debt To Society (33/1), American World (100/1)

Verdict

It will be interesting to see if first-time blinkers have the desired effect on Shambougg because Philip Hobbs' charge has the ability to win in this grade, but there could be more mileage in siding with GREYED A who is probably better than he showed in really testing conditions at Chepstow most recently. This longer trip is likely to work in his favour and he is just the sort Dr Richard Newland tends to excel with. A similar case could be made out for Gulshanigans, while it would be no surprise to see Champagne Chaser make his presence felt. 1. Greyed A 2. Gulshanigans 3. Champagne Chaser
