Verdict

Fairly ordinary fare to end the card but it’s competitve with plenty of options to look at. Playful Dude should be on any shortlist after his win here last time and the handicapper has been quite realistic in only raising him 4lb for that win. Dose could well take advantage of a falling mark if taking to this surface and General Tufto can never be left out of calculations at his beloved Southwell given a strong pace to run at. Little Choosey and SAMPHIRE COAST are closely matched on their run here last time out but it’s the latter who gets the nod again due to the fact that he’s probably got some more improvement in him and he looks the sort that the handicapper will find it hard to get hold of. 1. Samphire Coast 2. Playful Dude 3. General Tufto
