Verdict

First-time cheekpieces seemed to help the improving ROLLING THUNDER at Musselburgh last time, and the strong stayer has to be feared if not falling victim to his inconsistency again. He is given the nod ahead of the improving Cabragh, who ground out a C&D win a few weeks ago and Play The Ace, whose handicap mark has been slipping recently on account of filling the minor places in some better races than this.
