Verdict

An unappealing contest even for this level and as a betting medium it makes little appeal. Firestorm has been capable of much better form in the past but has struggled of late in handicaps and he should appreciate this drop in grade. Marshall Dan Troop is another who may well fare better in this grade after finding handicaps tough of late. The blinkered first-time Heavensfield has yet to win a race but the headgear could spark some improvement as he also drops in class. FAST PLAY is likely to have found 2m stretching his suspect stamina last time out in a 0-75 handicap and this looks a far more suitable test for him here. 1. Fast Play 2. Firestorm 3. Marshal Dan Troop
