Verdict

A good race, which can perhaps be narrowed down to the three likeliest winners, which obviously includes last years winner Kruzhlinin. He's been shrewdly campaigned by connections over hurdles and is much respected on his return to fences at this track from an 8lbs higher mark than in 2016. However, he gives weight to up and coming chasers in the shape of Sandy Beach who could well relish tackling this new trip, but preference is for the Ben Pauling trained SILVERGROVE. One couldn't fail to have coveted Silvergrove here last February, and this nine year old has very much been dining at the top table since, and looks sure to make a bold bid from the front on his return to Kempton Park. 1. Silvergrove 2. Sandy Beach 3. Kruzhlinin
