A chance is taken on MONKS MEAD, who ended last year on a low-key note but his four previous visits to this track have all resulted in good efforts and he resumes from a break on an attractive mark. Soi Dao has also performed with credit in two runs here and, having returned to form when fourth over 9.5f at Wolverhampton last time, she will be a threat, particularly if allowed her own way out in front. King of Speed also has claims, while Outrace is capable of playing a part if on-song.
