Dual hurdles winner who showed improved form to make a winning chase debut at Newton Abbot last summer. Similar form in defeat next 3 starts but latest effort at Doncaster wasn't one of his better ones and he looks vulnerable back hurdling.

Landed a hat-trick in 2m Ascot handicap last March last year. Well below par so far this season but he has slipped to an attractive mark as a result (now 5 lb lower than for that Ascot success) and will be a danger to all if the first-time blinkers give him a lift.

Showed further improvement to complete the hat-trick in 14-runner handicap at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft) in October, going with enthusiasm. Wasn't seen to best effect when fourth of 7 at Doncaster the following month but he's probably a shade too high in the weights for now in any case.

Belatedly added to Sedgefield maiden hurdle success back in 2023 when belying odds of 20/1 returned to this sphere with usual headgear omitted at Southwell (20.4f, good to soft) recently. 6 lb rise tolerable but he's by no means an obvious follow-up candidate.

Didn't achieve much in a pair of bumpers last season and pulled up on hurdles debut in December. However, he has looked a different proposition for his new yard the last twice, latterly landing a maiden at Hereford (19.7f, good) in good style, and he has to be feared now handicapping.

Fair Flat winner who made all in juvenile hurdle at Doncaster in December 2023. Performed with credit on the level a couple of times last year but ran no sort of a race back hurdling for new connections at Warwick.

ROYAL WAY is admittedly risky on the back of a string of poor efforts but he has been given a chance by the handicapper and it could be worth taking a chance on the 5-y-o in the hope that the addition of blinkers helps spark a return to form. The main danger is the unexposed Lions Peak, who did the job well in a Hereford maiden on his second run for this yard and goes handicapping off what looks a fair opening mark. Thank You Blue is third choice.
