Fairly useful Flat/hurdles winner but folded tamely and pulled up in Huntingdon handicap back from wind surgery in January (final start for Alan King) and below par for new yard here (17f) 11 days ago. Steps up in trip with something to prove.

Forecasts

The Long Point (15/8), Striking A Pose (9/2), Iris Des Issards (9/2), Night Duty (5/1), Teorie (6/1), Bredon Hill (6/1), Saint Cyr De Pail (15/2), Asian Spice (17/2), Kepagge (14/1)

Verdict

THE LONG POINT made a good start to his handicap career when second at Kempton last month and can go one better now. Course maiden winner Saint Cyr De Pail was better than the result suggests at Warwick last time and is second choice ahead of Bredon Hill, who was a place behind the selection at Kempton, and Night Duty.
