Showed something akin to pick of his bumper form when runner-up on third start in maidens at Southwell (15.8f) in December. Yet to hit those heights in handicaps, although he would have found the trip on the sharp side at Doncaster last time and he might yet improve for this step up in distance.

Placed in a couple of points prior to a better effort when second of 9 in handicap hurdle at Fakenham (23.4f, good to soft). Well-below form on final run for Barry Bannan on New Years' Day, pulled-up over fences. He's been found a weak race for his return to hurdles/stable debut and may bounce back.

Four-time winner on the Flat for Andrew McNamara in Ireland but more miss than hit over hurdles as proved in two underwhelming starts for new yard, failing to beat another horse home. Tried in first-time tongue tie but is difficult to fancy on recent evidence.

Winner of sole start between the flags a year ago. Best effort of his 5 under starts under Rules was when fourth of 13 in a Uttoxeter maiden (15.7f, heavy) in April but he's looked unconvincing on two starts in handicaps, shaping no better in first-time cheekpieces (retained) latest. Needs more.

Posted another creditable effort (placed on last three outings) when third of 7 in handicap hurdle at Market Rasen (20.6f, good to soft, 15/2) last month, not ideally placed having been held-up in a modestly-run affair. Yard haven't been among the winners, but this looks a decent opportunity.

Forecasts

Gms Prince (15/8), Let's Sail Away (2/1), Seek Him There (85/40), Hardy Buck (11/1), Red Trail (40/1)

Verdict

In a modest affair, GMS PRINCE may prove the most solid option arriving on the back of three creditable placed efforts, and this looks a decent opportunity for him to break his maiden tag while earning a welcome winner for the yard. Seek Him There is next best, having offered some promise in novice company, and he could improve back up in trip, while the inconsistent Hardy Buck could feature on stable debut, if on a going day.
