Consistent sort landed hat-trick at Downpatrick this season and has been running as well as ever in two starts since, hitting usual flat spot when fourth of 20 in handicap hurdle at Fairyhouse (20f, soft) last month. Solid claims.

Progressive, lightly-raced sort is 2 from 3 in handicap hurdles this season and beat a subsequent two-time winner when landing an 8-runner contest at Southwell (20.4f, good) in November. Off since but has run well fresh before and holds leading claims.

Returned to the pick of his French form to open his account on British soil in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Perth (20.2f) in May but disappointing in two runs this season, latest after 3-months off when trailing the field at Wetherby 16 days ago. Shouldn't lack for fitness but others preferred.

Irish point winner quickly reached a fair level over hurdles last year but has regressed this season, pulled up on first two starts over fences/hurdles this winter. Minor improvement when managing to complete (a well-beaten fifth of 7) at Ayr last month but best to look elsewhere for win purposes.

Fairly useful in bumpers and won first 2 starts over hurdles in 2022/23. Very lightly raced since but has run creditably in two starts for new stable, latest when suited by step up in trip second of 7 at Ayr (20.4f, soft). This test should be stiff enough and makes appeal off this sort of mark.

Ruby Island seemingly retains plenty of ability and could be a threat from her current mark, while Irish-raider Portnacoo has been a model of consistency this season.
