Without a win since his British debut finishing second on seven occasions since. Showed his consistency with a respectable fourth in a handicap hurdle at Haydock (15.6f, heavy) 35 days ago, didn't find much under pressure. Chances back up in trip but is struggling to get his head in front.

Dual hurdles winner who reportedly bled when pulled up on final start of last season (23.8f) in April. Easy to back and shaped as if better for the run on last month's reappearance when sixth in handicap at Aintree (20f) 3 weeks ago. Entitled to come on for that and better expected today.

Last seen completing the final leg of a hat-trick here in May (all three wins coming at this venue, twice over C&D), making the running on each occasion. Seeks a four-timer off an only 2 lb higher mark and she would merit serious consideration if ready to roll on her return to action.

Caught the eye on his sole hurdles win back in March 2023, landing a small field novice hurdle (Doncaster 19.4f) despite doing plenty wrong, keen and mistakes. More miss than hit since (hurdles and fences) but would be of interest if market speaks in his favour on his comeback from 406-day absence.

Hurdles winner at the start of the year and also opened account on the Flat in 2m Catterick handicap in October. Latest run when sixth of 9 in a handicap hurdle at Bangor (23.2f, heavy) suggests he might be in the grip of the handicapper and 3 lb drop may not be enough to change his fortunes here.

Winning pointer made winning start over hurdles (Warwick, 19f, heavy) in January last year but only raced twice since, pulled-up (possibly amiss) in a Grade 2 before respectable third over an inadequate 2m (Chepstow) back in April. Can go close for top yard if firing on all cylinders on comeback.

C&D winner on debut and ended long losing run with the aid of first-time cheekpieces when landing an 8-runner handicap hurdle at Bangor (19.6f, heavy) 43 days ago, still looking a tad awkward under pressure. That will have done his confidence no harm but this is a warmer race.

Looked a horse to keep on the right side of when scoring (Aintree, 20f, good) in May last year but clearly not easy to train since, only returned to action last month when down the field (showed slightly high head carriage) in a handicap at Haydock (15.6f, heavy). Should come on for that run.

First run since leaving Dan Skelton when sent off at 125/1, keen and pulled up in a handicap hurdle at Warwick (26f, soft) 25 days ago. Beaten quickly that day and hard to make a case for.

Connections thought enough of this mare to pitch her into graded company on her penultimate start (pulled-up, possibly amiss) and with 2 miles too sharp last-time. she is interesting now back up in trip on handicap debut. Jilaijone continues to run well without getting his head in front, while course-queen Miss Maverick and Gentle Frank are worth noting in the market on their return from absence.
