Fair on the Flat for Hugo Palmer and having made the frame in pair of novice hurdle runs for new yard, he improved further to open his account in 7-runner handicap at Uttoxeter (15.7f) in July. Ran a cracker on return when second at Wetherby on Boxing Day and should go well again.

Down in the weights and set to produced most encouraging effort yet in handicaps when falling late at Sedgefield in November. Probably worth marking up for lasting as long as he did under an aggressive ride when fourth at Wetherby last time but typically found the hurdles getting in his way.

Plenty of these have questions to answer but DOUBLE OBAN ran a cracker on return from 6 months off when finding just one too strong at Wetherby on Boxing Day, so he's fancied to regain the winning thread at the expense of Lahire, who did too much up front when finishing a couple of places behind the selection last time. Gms Prince can edge out recent C&D winner Magnetic North for third.
