€200,000 2-y-o, Ten Sovereigns gelding who was all the rage in the betting and confirmed himself an above-average sort when winning 4-runner C&D novice on debut in November, quickening clear with plenty in hand. Sure to progress and he's shortlisted.

34,000 gns yearling, €400,000 2-y-o, Saxon Warrior gelding. Half-brother to 9.5f-12.4f winner Rubellite. Dam unraced half-sister to useful 6f winner Dream Dubai. Presumably not been the easiest to train to be making his debut now but he commands market attention.
Timeform
Hinted at promise in bumpers but no form over hurdles and he offered nothing on his debut in this sphere when ninth of 12 in novice here (10.2f) 4 weeks ago. Can only be watched.

Fair form in pair of turf maidens for Charlie Appleby in 2023. Off 15 months/gelded, shade disappointing starting out for new yard when third of 5 in a C&D novice 32 days ago, having very much had run of race. Possible he'll be sharper with that run under his belt. Cheekpieces on 1st time.

Chased home subsequent 2000 Guineas winner Notable Speech on second start at Kempton (1m) 12 months ago but not in same form when seventh of 11 in a Doncaster novice (1m) in May. Absent and subsequently gelded and he appeals as the type who could yet have more to offer.

Sales price dropped by a huge amount as a 3-y-o and he could only run to a modest level in a pair of novice contests over C&D/at Southwell last month. Likely type for handicaps moving forward.

Twice-raced mare who probably needed the run after 19 months off when seventh of 12 in novice at this course (10.2f) 29 days ago, weakening over 2f out. One for low-grade handicaps after this.

Finished runner-up (fair form) on sole start for Simon and Ed Crisford this time last year. Sold cheaply thereafter and probably found the drop back in trip against her after 11 months off when seventh of 11 in maiden at this course (7.1f) 8 days ago. Another likely type for handicaps.

U S Navy Flag filly. 66/1, showed a bit without being unduly punished when last of 6 in C&D maiden on debut 24 days ago, losing place 2f out. One for later on.

Forecasts

Sovereign Sea (11/10), Bragbor (3/1), Parkland (9/2), Kingdom Of Time (6/1), Without Compromise (16/1), Encircle (25/1), Jam Lass (66/1), Bella Puledra (100/1), Chantilly Moon (100/1)

Verdict

SOVEREIGN SEA was all the rage in the betting and confirmed himself an above-average prospect when landing a 4-runner C&D novice on debut in November. Not needing to be extended then, he's fancied to make a bold bid under a penalty with progress anticipated. Parkland, who has finished runner-up to subsequent 2000 Guineas winner Notable Speech, is feared returning from 7 months off. Newcomer Bragbor is another to consider, particularly if strong in the betting.
