7/2
Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1½m) and showed plenty to work on when third in a big field maiden at Wincanton (15.2f) on hurdles bow in October, his rider keen to deliver him as late as possible. Ought to be capable of better.

Fourth in bumper at Fontwell and well held at big prices in novice/maiden hurdles, not at all knocked about at Warwick last time (suspended from running for 40 days, trainer fined, jockey banned). Remains capable of better.

€62,000 3-y-o, Malinas gelding. Fourth in an Irish point in March and offered something to work on without threatening when fourth of 8 in novice hurdle at Ludlow (15.7f, soft) last month. Probably one for later on, particularly when tackling longer trips.

Fairly useful on Flat (stays 1¾m) in France, won claimer at Chantilly penultimate start in 2023 and runner-up in similar event final outing that year. Claimed from Waldemar Hickst after for €17,256 and interesting what the market makes of him now sent hurdling after 15 months off.

Has hinted at ability in 2 bumpers and showed more than first time up over hurdles when fourth of 14 in a Hereford novice (16.2f) in December. May do better still, particularly when sent handicapping.

Black Sam Bellamy mare who has looked in need of experience in bumper/novice hurdles in recent months (reportedly bled last time). Probably one for handicaps later on.

Jelani mare. Dam unraced. Failed to complete both starts in points and no promise with a tongue strap fitted when pulled up on Rules/hurdles debut at Wincanton 22 days ago. Easy enough to look elsewhere.

Forecasts

Epinephrine (9/4), High Fibre (7/2), The Hardest Geezer (4/1), Strolling Along (6/1), Saccary (6/1), The Sainted Canary (12/1), Slide Rule (14/1), Last Rodeo (25/1), Eskimo Sam (66/1), Klic Boum (66/1), Pink Eyed Pancho (100/1), Janespriceless (200/1)

Verdict

5-y-o mare EPINEPHRINE was far from disgraced on the back of a 14-month absence when fourth in a listed novice at Sandown on debut for Venetia Williams 32 days ago and, appealing as the type to do better with that under her belt, she could be the way to go. High Fibre and The Hardest Geezer should progress further also and are feared, as is hurdles debutant Strolling Along.
