Again performed respectably back chasing on return at Bangor but followed that with a tame effort in a Uttoxeter handicap 18 days ago.

Fair handicap hurdler/chaser who went agonisingly close to opening his account in this sphere on his penultimate start at Uttoxeter. Not so good when beaten around 11 lengths into third in the Ludlow handicap won by Moodofthemoment last month but he is at least now 9 lb better off with that rival.

Next on the list is Golden de Coeur, who scored twice between the flags and is likely capable of progress in this sphere. Longshanks also makes some appeal, while Zestful Hope is entitled to finish closer to the selection than he did at Ludlow on these revised terms and Bobhopeornohope is lurking on a dangerous mark.
