Off the mark in this sphere at Ffos Las (16f) in February and improved when following up in 4-runner C&D handicap. Well supported but unable to live with a couple of chasing debutants on return/first outing since leaving Anthony Honeyball at Fontwell recently and now cheekpieces are applied.

Close second to a useful sort in a newcomers race at Fontainebleau in March 2023 and more encouragement for this yard after 8 months off in 2m Uttoxeter maiden on return, considerately handled (reportedly had breathing problem). Failed to build on that here next time and now goes chasing.

Fairly useful Flat winner in France and won a weak juvenile hurdle at Wetherby in January. Found only one too good on handicap debut at Fontwell following month but couldn't cope with a no-hiding-place introduction to chasing on return at Uttoxeter last month. Should improve, though.

A few in with chances but the suggestion is FAMOSO, who made a winning return to fences at Hereford earlier this month and Matt Sheppard's 8-y-o is fancied to defy a 5 lb higher mark at the expense of First Angel, who made it 2 wins from 4 starts for this yard (both at Stratford) when last seen back in summer 2023. Torneo should improve on his initial effort over fences so can edge out Hatos for third.
