Good third following the best part of a year off in a 21f Kempton handicap in May 2023 but failed to build on that next 2 starts and entitled to need this following a 17-month absence. Dominic's Fault is the stable No 1.

Improver in handicaps last season, winning slow-ground handicaps at Lingfield and Carlisle. Shaped far better than the bare result on his seasonal reappearance at the latter course last month and should be in the mix here .

Placed all 3 starts in handicaps in this sphere and made winning start over fences at Chepstow in October 2022. Failed to complete on 2 of his 3 subsequent starts and probably worth taking on back hurdling following a 12-month absence.

Fair maiden hurdler who made the frame on 4 occasions last season and another solid effort when runner-up on return at Market Rasen (16.6f, good). Mark for this handicap debut looks fair and he's a live each-way candidate.

On the up when last seen in 2023, bagging handicaps at around 2½m at Southwell and Perth. Still has low-mileage and he could have more to offer, albeit he may need the run following 16 months off and Dominic's Fault looks the pick of the yard's 4 runners.

Fairly useful on Flat in France and improved efforts over hurdles for new yard when winning handicaps in the mud at Plumpton (2m) and Taunton (19f) in February. Pulled up the last twice, though, and he needs to bounce back following a 6-month break.

Proved expensive to follow over hurdles in Ireland and while she made a winning start for Olly Murphy in 8-runner novice hurdle at Uttoxeter in January, her efforts switched to handicap company the last twice have lacked spark.

Useful Flat performer for Charlie Fellowes. Well short of that level on all 3 starts over hurdles for this yard back in 2022 but capable of much better now handicapping, provided that his ability remains intact following more than 2 years on the sidelines. Has undergone a wind op.

Opened hurdles account at Market Rasen in March 2023 but he was beaten at Bangor the following month. No show both starts on the Flat following a lengthy absence and he looks set for another struggle.

The vote goes to DOMINIC'S FAULT, who was just worried out of it when returning to action on his handicap debut at Carlisle and there should be better to come from this unexposed 7-y-o. Wise Guy showed more than his finishing position would suggest on his reappearance at the aforementioned Cumbrian venue and he is feared most. Handicap-debutants Rumoursareflying and King Ottokar are others with a chance.
