JAKANA has seemingly been a slow learner in bumpers but she took a step forward when runner-up at Southwell back in June so she could be worth chancing to make a winning start over hurdles at the expense of Basilette, who has an experience edge over his rivals but goes about things in a less-than-straightforward manner. Chattamento can fill out third in what looks a trappy contest.
