Lakeland Dairies & Bidfood Classic Collaboration Novices' Handicap Chase

Made a successful return over fences at Southwell (2m) in June and backed it up with a good third at Worcester. Not so good since but only 2 lb above last winning mark now and he's back down in class.

Won handicap hurdle here almost 2 years ago but was well held sent chasing by new connections after 17 months off at Market Rasen 30 days ago. Visored for 1st time.

Maiden hurdler/chaser in Ireland who showed first solid form after 5 months off/for new yard when fourth of 10 in handicap chase at Sedgefield (16.4f). Might have been amiss next time and has since changed yards again. Worth another chance.

Out of sorts since second start this season so plenty to prove sent chasing.

Got back on track reverted to hurdling when landing 8-runner handicap at Cartmel (17.2f, soft) in August. Below form next 2 starts, however, including back over fences last time (lower in the weights in this sphere).

Went close over hurdles at Hexham last summer but it's been all downhill since, including back over fences latest.

On the back of a breathing operation, he found only one too good on handicap debut at Market Rasen in May. Has failed to scale those heights since (hooded on latest) and now attentions are turned to the larger obstacles.
