Suited by step up to 1¼m when landing a big-field handicap at York Ebor meeting where she was quicker off the blocks than is often the case. However, she has reverted to her slow-starting ways both starts since and again looks vulnerable.

Has enjoyed a fantastic campaign, notching fifth success of 2024 when accounting for 9 rivals in a 1¼m Newbury handicap (heavy) recently. Probably biting off more than she can chew now elevated to this grade, though.

Built on promising Ascot debut success when landing a listed contest in good style at Newbury (1¼m, good to firm) in May. Absent since trailing in last of 12 in the Ribblesdale upped to 1½m at Royal Ascot the following month but this well-bred filly surely remains capable of better.

Resumed progress in no uncertain terms after 9 months off when winning 16-runner handicap at York in June. At least matched that form when going close at Haydock (10.2f, good) last time but this represents a significant hike in class.

Added a third win of a productive campaign when seeing off 8 rivals over 1½m at Newbury (good to soft). However, she was found wanting upped to this level at Bath next time and the competition is even more fearsome in this contest.

Performed with credit in the Lingfield Oaks Trial and Ribblesdale at Royal Ascot earlier this season. Misfired when sent off favourite at Newmarket in July but proved that all wrong when runner-up in a Newbury Group 3 (1½m, heavy) back from a break a fortnight ago. Major player.

Fetched 425,000 gns as a yearling and this Night of Thunder filly made a highly promising debut when easily landing a 1¼m Goodwood maiden in August. Wasn't seen to best effect upped to this grade at Yarmouth the following month and she remains with potential.

Useful filly at her best for Jim Bolger in Ireland, winner of a maiden and 3 handicaps at up to 9.5f this year. However, she made a low-key debut for this yard in a Swedish Group 3 last time and others make more appeal.

€350,000 yearling who made a winning start for David Simcock in 7f Newmarket novice last November. Well held in listed race on return there in May but back on the up when a close third on handicap/yard debut, again at Newmarket (1m, soft), on return from a 6-month break. Remains open to improvement.

Won a 1¼m Newbury maiden (good to soft) in April but limitations very much exposed in listed/Group company since. Hopes pinned on the first-time blinkers triggering a big step forward here.

Nottingham maiden winner on sole 2-y-o start and posted a useful perormance when fourth in Lingfield Oaks Trial in May. Down the field next 2 starts but returned from a break with a near-miss in a Newmarket handicap (1¼m, good to soft) last month and she has to enter calculations.

Forecasts

Danielle (7/4), Estrange (7/2), Treasure (7/2), Diamond Rain (11/2), Albany (10/1), Ciara Pearl (16/1), Loughville (18/1), Lunar Eclipse (20/1), Invisible Friend (40/1), Sinology (40/1), Glor Tire (50/1), Canoodled (100/1)

Verdict

Ralph Beckett has saddled two of the last four winners of this race and in TREASURE he fields a very strong contender this time round and she gets the vote on the back of her close call in a competitive Newmarket handicap. Danielle is an obvious threat with conditions in her favour, while Diamond Rain and Estrange both remain fillies of considerable potential.
