Won 8-runner handicap (11/1) on the AW course here (6f) 27 days ago, always holding on. 9 lb higher back on turf but that needn't debar another big run from this 6-y-o.

Forecasts

Lahina Bay (10/3), Coast (4/1), Big Bard (4/1), Kento (17/2), Phoenix Moon (11/1), Roman Spring (11/1), Moreginplease (14/1), Arlecchino's Gift (16/1), Watermelon Sugar (16/1), Muy Muy Guapo (18/1), Match Anthem (22/1), Morning Suit (33/1), Tilsworth Turf (50/1)

Verdict

BIG BARD regained the winning thread on the all-weather here last month and, still feasibly treated off 9 lb higher and versatile ground-wise, he is taken to go in again. Next on the list is Watermelon Sugar, who is also on a workable mark, and Lahina Bay is also feared on the back of a series of solid efforts. Match Anthem is edging down the weights and may come good before long.
