Resumed with a creditable effort in defeat at Chester last month. Two tame efforts since though and doesn't make much appeal despite dropping back down in grade.

Bounced back to form when chasing home a well-treated sort over C&D in May. Disappointing both subsequent starts, though, so others are more appealing in a competitive event.

6/1, good second of 10 in handicap at Chester (15.9f, heavy) 50 days ago, clear of rest. Likeable type who should give another good account.

Useful performer in France who was successful 3 times in 2022. Yet to score in 8 attempts for current yard but has fallen in the weights and ran with credit when fifth here last time. Cheekpieces go back on.

Found some improvement when bagging back-to-back handicaps (at up to 13.8f) in September and closed off 2023 campaign with a solid second at York. Back on track here last time and can't be ruled out.

Lightly-raced sort who had something to spare when getting off the mark in a 13-runner Hamilton handicap (11f, good to firm) under Amie Waugh. Made light of 6 lb rise when following up over 14f at Thirsk and was an excellent staying-on third at York last time. Big player.

Fair winner at up to 15f on the Flat in France and back to best in this sphere when scoring over C&D in June. Didn't back it up at Chester next time but has been given a break since.

Edging down the weights and took a step back in the right direction in a first-time visor last time. Goes up in trip and isn't easy to rule out.

Wide-margin winner of 14f handicap at Redcar in May and has continued in good order, seventh in a competitive event at this course last time. Can make his presence felt.
