Has improved further this term, winning Lingfield handicap on return before good seconds in C&D and Newmarket listed events. Just failed last time and has strong claims back up in class.

Hasn't always looked to relish a battle but shaped as if as good as ever after 10 months off when second in listed Newbury contest, leaving the feeling he's still superior to Phantom Flight despite failing to uphold 2023 form with that rival. Sets the standard but has flopped here previously.

Impressive winner of 1½m listed race at Kempton in November. Not quite at that level over shorter trips twice this year but could bounce back here.

Finally got the measure of the poorly-placed Al Aasy having been gelded (also fitted with a hood) for new yard on return in listed race at Newbury last month, quickening to lead over 1f out. Didn't really take to the track here previously and has stamina to prove now but could kick on again.

Confirmed the promise of his reappearance when ready winner of 14-runner handicap at Epsom over this trip on Derby Day. Good third in York listed race over further next time and he's a low-mileage sort who could still have a bigger performance in him.
