Found some improvement to record a third win over hurdles at Worcester in June but was well below form in the Summer Hurdle at Market Rasen when last seen. Tongue strap reapplied.

Smart dual bumper winner who hacked up on his Bellewstown hurdling debut (16.8f) in July. Proved a big let-down at Galway next time but was found to be blowing hard post-race and remains capable of better now setting out for a new stable (has left John McConnell).

Bumper winner who didn't need to improve to get off the mark over hurdles in 18-runner maiden (4/6) at Listowel (20f, soft) 35 days ago, cruising clear before blundering last. Ought to give another good account.

Displayed a likeable attitude to get off the mark at the third attempt in bumpers at Bangor (16.7f) in April and looked a nice prospect when following up on his Worcester hurdling debut (20f) 4 weeks ago. Better to come.

Has shown ability in a bumper and a brace of maiden hurdles but is probably more one for handicaps after this.

Looked a good prospect when making a winning debut in a Chepstow bumper last November. A shade disappointing both starts since, but is from the family of useful hurdler/top-class chaser (stays 3¼m) Clan des Obeaux, so can't be written off now switching to hurdles. Has had a breathing op.

Confirmed previous promise in bumpers when off the mark at the third attempt (8/13) at Market Rasen (16.6f, soft) in March. Stable has hit the ground running this autumn and he's an interesting hurdling debutant up in trip.

Runner-up sole start in Irish points and fairly useful form when making all both bumper outings. Could hardly have been more impressive switched to hurdling when thrashing 3 previous winners at Perth (20.2f) last month and seems sure to go on to better things.

Runner-up sole outing in bumpers and built on hurdling debut promise when easily landing 10-runner maiden at Downpatrick (18.8f, good to soft) in June. Will go on improving.

Forecasts

Encanto Bruno (11/4), Tag Man (3/1), El Elefante (7/2), Katate Dori (13/2), Mel Monroe (7/1), Everyonesgame (16/1), Push The Button (18/1), Isaac Des Obeaux (25/1), Here Comes Georgie (150/1)

Verdict

It's hard to know exactly what EL ELEFANTE achieved in scoring by a wide margin on her Perth hurdling debut, but she really impressed with how she powered clear in the straight and looks the type to go on to better things. Encanto Bruno proved a big let-down at Galway, but he was mightily impressive at Bellewstown prior to that, so can be given another chance, while Katate Dori is an interesting newcomer to this sphere for a yard that has started the autumn well.
