Useful colt. 2 wins from 4 runs this year. 12/10, career best when winning 3-runner Prix des Chenes (Group 3) at this course (8f, good) 24 days ago by 1¼ lengths from Grey Man. Respected back down in trip.

Debut winner at Newbury before following up in strong listed race at Ascot by 4 lengths. Failed to meet expectations in Group 2 at Doncaster since but worth another chance given the impression made at Ascot.

All 4 starts at the Curragh. Landed odds in maiden in May and only just failed in Group 2 (6f) next time. Excuses in Phoenix Stakes since and extra 1f should suit.

Exciting prospect who's unbeaten in 4 starts, completing 4-timer in good style in 7-runner Prix La Rochette at this C&D (good) 28 days ago by length from Evade, comfortably. Bigger performance almost certainly in him.

Narrow winner both starts, namely Naas maiden and Group 3 at Leopardstown. Can improve again but more needed to complete the hat-trick.

Useful form when ¾-length third of 11 to Carolina Reaper in Zukunfts-Rennen at Baden-Baden (7f, good to soft, 52/10) 32 days ago but much more needed again at this level.

Made a winning debut in 6-runner novice at Newmarket (7f, good to firm, 16/1) 37 days ago, clocking a good time and never stronger than at the finish. Plenty to find on bare form but rates a good prospect.

Useful colt. Winner at Deauville in July. Improved when length second of 7 to Beauvatier in Prix La Rochette at this C&D (good, 10/1) 28 days ago, slowly away. Work to do.

Impressive wide-margin winner of a York novice on debut in May and followed up in valuable sales at the Curragh in clear-cut fashion 4 months on. Will go on improving and must be respected.

Forecasts

Beauvatier (15/8), Rosallion (9/2), Unquestionable (6/1), Zabiari (15/2), Jayarebe (17/2), Native American (10/1), Henry Adams (11/1), Ballymount Boy (16/1), Johannes Brahms (16/1), Evade (25/1), West Man (80/1)

Verdict

BEAUVATIER looks a colt of some promise, completing the 4-timer with more in hand than the margin suggests in a Group 3 over C&D 4 weeks ago, and should prove difficult to beat with further progress very much on the cards. Rosallion disappointed in the Champagne at Doncaster but is worth another chance on the strength of his impressive Ascot win, while the exciting Native American is another unbeaten colt to be considered.
