Cartmel Peninsula Food Parcels Maiden Hurdle (GBB Race)

Maiden pointer. Wears a tongue strap on Rules debut. Likely outsider.

Fair maiden on the Flat who has already surpassed that form over hurdles, running to a fairly useful level when second in a Downpatrick maiden in October. Probably needed the run when fourth in a similar event there 8 months later. Below par on the Flat since but the one to beat back hurdling.

Found only one too good in a Catterick bumper on debut in February but little to shout about since, failing to take to hurdling so far.

Navan bumper winner last autumn. Better effort in maiden hurdles trhis spring when fourth of 13 at Downpatrick (19f) in May. Tongue tied first time. Should be thereabouts under Sean Bowen.

Dual point winner, including in March, but offered little on Down Royal hurdle debut last summer. Invictus World the more obvious of the yard's pair.

Pretty useful Flat winner but nowhere near that level over hurdles so far, including when switched to handicap company at Hexham last month. Too soon to write off in this sphere but hard to be confident about.

Placed in points in Ireland. Betting should help guide to expectations now hurdling.

Modest Flat winner. 200/1, sixth of 7 in novice at Uttoxeter (2m, heavy) on hurdle debut 13 days ago.

Poor maiden on Flat (stays 8.5f). Likely outsider on hurdle debut.

Fair on Flat (stays 2m) for David O'Meara. Made a sound start to his hurdle career when third over C&D at the end of May. Another prominent showing is on the cards.
