Havana Gold filly who has found only one too good both starts to date, looking totally unsuited by the track at Chelmsford (5f) last time. Return to a straight course will suit but a fair chunk of improvement required stepping up to 6f.

Made a winning debut at Ayr (5f, good) and took a sizeable step forward when defying a penalty at Kempton, proving way too speedy for her rivals. Ran creditably in York listed event since but had no excuses.

Expert Eye filly who made a winning start in taking fashion in 6-runner maiden at Musselburgh (5f, good) 39 days ago, despite being slowly away. Bred to stay 6f and seems sure to progress.

Left debut form well behind when making all in 9-runner maiden at Doncaster (6.5f, good to firm) 13 days ago, keeping on well. Looks vulnerable now upped up in grade, though.

An expensive purchase at the breeze-ups who made a promising start to her career when 2¾ lengths third of 10 to Fully Wet in 6f maiden at Goodwood (good) 27 days ago, not quicken inside final 1f. Sure to improve but this is a big ask on only her second start.

Has a useful sprinting pedigree and knew enough to make a winning start at Doncaster (5f) in April. Put that experience to good use to follow up at Ripon but needs more at this level.

Cheap purchase who got the hang of things sufficiently enough late on to make a winning start at Brighton (5.2f) in late April. Ran to a similar level in defeat under a penalty at Kempton but others more persuasive now upped in grade.

Sioux Nation filly who produced a promising first effort when second in a 5f Kempton novice back in March. That form is only ordinary, but she's bred to be suited by this step up to 6f and can improve.

Verdict

MEDITATE put up a useful performance to maintain her unbeaten record in a Group 3 at Naas last month and, with that form having a solid look to it, she must be considered the one to beat, especially with further improvement on the cards. Mawj looks the most interesting in opposition having made a sparking winning debut at Newmarket, while Queen Olly and Fully Wet are others to note.
