Useful hurdler who looked as good as ever when scoring at Navan 55 days ago. Had nothing to spare, however, so he's likely to prove vulnerable to less-exposed types.

Successful on his first 4 starts under Rules, then gave it his all in a couple of Grade 1 events since, third to Minella Cocooner on latest occasion. Bold showing expected from this tough sort.

Bumper winner who opened his hurdling account at the first attempt by a wide margin at Thurles last month. More to come up in trip, and smooth-travelling style should suit this type of race.

Dual bumper winner who boasts a progressive profile over timber. Relished the return to this trip when scoring at Fairyhouse in November, and a mark of 137 looks fair. Respected.

Off the mark at Navan in December and good placed efforts subsequently, third in a listed event at Punchestown on latest. This trip looks ideal, so there's scope for a bigger effort.

Upwardly mobile novice hurdler who made a winning start in handicaps at Doncaster and followed up in the Lanzarote at Kempton a couple of months ago. The form isn't working out, but hard to dismiss.

Progressive, likeable front-runner who doubled his account over hurdles when scoring at Punchestown 115 days ago. Fluent jumping will hold him in good stead, so one to consider.

Ready winner of handicaps at Carlisle and Fontwell this winter and has remained in top form since, likely to have been placed had he not fallen at the last in the Lanzarote at Kempton 2 months ago.

Winner at Punchestown in November and arrives with an upwardly-mobile profile after a respectable fourth in Grade 1 company at Leopardstown in February. 135 looks fair, so not a forlorn hope.

Fairly useful hurdler who ran well when third in a minor event at Limerick 82 days ago. Lightly raced and has an able partner, so no surprise if he puts in a big effort.

Successful 3 times in a very productive juvenile campaign and back to winning ways in 19.5f Doncaster handicap in November. Good fourth at Kempton recently and might not have finished progressing.

Three-time winner already this season and was right back on track when seventh from an unpromising position at Leopardstown 40 days ago. Could get involved if everything drops right.

Rattled off a hat-trick in 2019-20, but yet to fire over both sets of obstacles this term. Very hard to make a case for.

Front runner who very much had the run of things when scraping home at Naas 47 days ago. Will face much more competition up front this time, so hard to imagine him lasting out.

Landed a 21.6f Ascot maiden, then fell 2 out when going well in the Challow at Newbury. Excuses (struck into) at Warwick next time, and remains with potential after a couple of months off.

Needless to say, there's a whole host of other interesting contenders from Ireland, while Langer Dan (second in last year's renewal) looks the pick of the British contingent.
