Yeats gelding who confirmed his debut promise in no uncertain terms when bolting up in an Exeter maiden on New Year's Day. Will stay this trip and the one to beat with further improvement likely.

Made amends for his last flight fall at Warwick when scoring in a Ludlow maiden just over 3 weeks ago, showing a good attitude to do so. Could be more to come so he's an obvious one for the shortlist.

Mores Wells gelding who offered little when seventh of 9 in maiden hurdle at Bellewstown (20.3f, good) back in August. Left Liz Lalor and off the mark in points at the third attempt a month later.

Held in bumpers (first one in Ireland) and little show in maiden/novice hurdle on these shores. Has left Philip Kirby and suspect he'll need more time. Hood applied.

Finished only seventh of 12 in a Tipperary bumper (19.5f) on NH debut for Patrick Eugene Turley but shaped better when sixth at Uttoxeter on hurdles bow in December. Likely to need more time.

Forecasts

Dubrovnik Harry (1/3), Jet Plane (5/2), Anglers Crag (10/1), Glebe Road (20/1), Big Changes (66/1), Baghdad Central (100/1), Paper Mill (150/1), Santesa (150/1), Sukat (200/1)

Verdict

The looks to revolve around DUBROVNIK HARRY, who couldn't have been much more impressive at Exeter on New Year's Day and, with further progress anticipated upped to 2½m, he's afforded the vote. Jet Plane showed a good attitude to open his account at Ludlow recently so he's the obvious threat to the selection, ahead of stable-switcher Anglers Crag.

  1. DUBROVNIK HARRY (IRE)
  2. JET PLANE (IRE)
  3. ANGLERS CRAG
