Smart colt but he's winless in 2021 and isn't really up to Group 1 level.

Quality front-running colt who looked at least as good as ever when demolishing a Group 3 field in Ireland last month. Good efforts on each previous visit to this track, so bold bid expected.

Retains plenty of spark despite his advancing years, fourth in the Prix Maurice de Gheest, then undone by the drop in trip at Beverley last time. Good record in this and not completely ruled out.

Smart gelding who can also boast a C&D win and was right back on track when fifth in the Bengough Stakes a fortnight ago. Landed this last year and first-time blinkers could add some extra spark.

Smart gelding. Latest win at the Curragh in August. Disappointing at the same course (5f) last time but this trip is more suitable, so can't be completely discounted.

Smart sort who has run at least respectably the last twice and produced his best effort of the campaign when fourth in the Diamond Jubilee over C&D at the Royal meeting. Not a forlorn hope.

Very smart form since being gelded, landing Haydock Group 3 and Lennox Stakes at Goodwood. Two good efforts in France since but needs a strong pace to be effective at this trip.

Has flourished this term, completing a four-timer in Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot. Has held form since and wasn't seen to best effect in Sprint Cup at Haydock last time. Remains of interest.

Won first 4 starts over 5f/6f and has been admirably consistent in the top sprints since, fourth in the Flying Five Stakes at the Curragh last time. Primed for another big run.

Looked potentially top class when landing the Gimcrack last year. Kept off the track with a leg injury but made a solid return when second in a listed event at this course recently, so not ruled out.

Big success story for yard. Made winning handicap debut off 55 and landed the Wokingham off 112. Not seen to best effect since but he's two from two over C&D, so worth taking a chance on.

Smart performer at 2 yrs and returned to that form when second in Prix Jean Prat at Deauville in July. Not at best since and this trip is short of his optimum.

First win came off 58 but has done nothing but improve since, bagging Royal Ascot handicap and listed race at Chelmsford this summer. Solid efforts since but she's not quite a Group 1 filly.

Verdict

ROHAAN seemingly comes alive over this C&D and the manner in which he sluiced through the pack in the Wokingham suggests he is well up to winning a race of this nature. Having not been seen to best effect last time, he gets the nod ahead of the tough Dragon Symbol, with the classy Art Power strongly considered on the back of his easy win at the Curragh 3 weeks ago.
