Landed a 1m novice as a 2-y-o and progressed again this term, winning on return at Nottingham and digging deep to follow up over 1m here in May (coming clear with runner up). Expected to go well again

Useful filly who scored twice in handicaps last term. Far from disgraced at a higher level since, 7 lengths fourth in Epsom Group 3 (8.5f) earlier this month. Career-high mark to defy here, though.

Consistent, useful filly who resumed progress when bolting up in a Lingfield handicap (10f) in September. Midfield at listed level final start and not ruled out on return for in-form yard.

Dual 1m novice winner as a 3-y-o who dispelled pair of lesser efforts at Meydan earlier this year when back to winning ways at Doncaster (1m) 12 days ago. However, this demands more from 3 lb higher.

Low-mileage filly who ended last season with success over 1m here in September. Improved again in defeat this spring, just touched off by Lights On here in May. 1 lb better off with that rival now.

Back on track upon joining present yard, landing back-to-back Sligo handicaps at around 10.5f in May, latterly by 5 lengths. Career-high mark to defy now but not ruled out in present groove.

A big success story on AW this year, improving again to land valuable conditions event at Lingfield on Good Friday. No significant impact on turf since, albeit out of depth in Epsom Group 3 latest.

Low-mileage 4-y-o who showed useful form to double career tally at Kempton (1m) in March (on back of a wind op). Too free in Nottingham listed event (10.2f) since and drop back in trip a plus.

Unable to make impact at listed/Group level in Ireland for Andrew Oliver last year but possible return/yard debut at Nottingham was needed in April. Needs to show benefit of that run to feature.

Strong in betting to resume winning ways at Chelmsford (10f) final start last year and picked up where she left off to go in again at Leicester (8.2f) in May, winning readily. Should go well again.

Kept busy as a 2-y-o but largely disappointing during light 3-y-o campaign. Good third on Nottingham return for new yard and soft ground a plausible excuse when well held behind Lights On here since.

Promising third returning from 6 months off at Lingfield (7f) in April and built on that when getting on top close home at Kempton (7f) in May. Totally unexposed at this sort of trip and interesting.

Landed Thirsk maiden/handicap on 2 of 3 starts last season and ran well to finish runner-up on first 2 starts this spring. Struggled at listed level since though, and this another tough ask.

Off the mark in a Goodwood novice (7f) in August and hit the frame next 3 starts, runner-up at Wolverhampton in March having conceded first run. Not in same form at Doncaster (7f) latest, however.

Verdict

A fiendishly competitive handicap to finish with the narrow vote in favour of DREAMLOPER. Just touched off by re-opposing Lights On over 1m here last month, she was still a shade keener than ideal and with this bigger field scenario a likely plus, she is fancied to come out on top. The latter named is upwardly mobile also and feared, along with So I Told You, Caspian Queen and Dalanijujo.

  2. LIGHTS ON
  3. SO I TOLD YOU (IRE)
