Fairly useful hurdle/Flat winner who returned after 4 months off with encouraging third in first-time cheekpieces in 20f Bangor handicap hurdle. Should be spot on now so much respected.

Made it 4 wins from first 5 starts when improving again to see off 10 rivals in 19.5f Silver Trophy at Chepstow on reappearance. Raised 7 lb but there's more to come so he holds leading claims.

16/1
Useful 3-time chaser winner in 2018/19 who made light of 20-month absence when landing 20f Plumpton handicap hurdle earlier in the month. Up 3 lb and this is tougher but he's not dismissed lightly.

Dual 2m hurdle winner in 2018 but he didn't wholly convince over fences last term, despite often running with credit. Reverts to hurdles now so no forlorn hope for top yard.

Useful winning hurdler at his best but only twice raced last term. Back from another 9-month absence now and this is no easy comeback. One of three for Henderson yard and market can guide.

Looked very useful prospect when landing Cheltenham Grade 2 last November but below that form in 4 runs since, too free when sixth of 8 in Ascot handicap last time. Well treated if bouncing back.

Impressed with winning hurdling bow here in December 2018 but hasn't gone on in three subsequent runs, wind op before well held in County Hurdle at Cheltenham final start. Lots to prove on comeback.

Fair middle-distance stayer on Flat who took well to hurdling last season but he beat only one in 21f handicap at Cheltenham two weeks ago. Needs to bounce back.

Forecasts

Tea Clipper (85/40), Rathhill (7/1), Hang In There (15/2), On The Wild Side (15/2), Champagne Platinum (8/1), Flash The Steel (12/1), Howling Milan (12/1), Christopher Wood (14/1), Amour de Nuit (16/1), Jacamar (20/1), Colonial Dreams (50/1), Lord Lamington (80/1)

Verdict

A case can be made for lots of these but the most persuasive one is TEA CLIPPER who continued his progression with a most likeable winning return in Chepstow's Silver Trophy and is taken to make light of a 7 lb rise here. Handicap debutant On The Wild Side is another with better days ahead of him so rates the chief threat, although Hang In There is weighted to have a big say if back on song.
