Verdict

Seven months have passed since HELIAN defeated Noble Fox by a neck here and while the latter has since placed six times the Ed Dunlop trained entire has had the winter months off. Fitness has to be taken on trust but three-year-olds who end their classic year on the up tend to continue the trend at four so he gets the nod over his old rival. Last-time out winner Shifting Gold has a good turn of foot and she will go close if the race is run to suit.
