Sprung a 25-1 surprise when scoring at Goodwood (1m, good) on his second start; has run to an equivalent level of form in defeat since (23), including behind stablemate Into Faith at Longchamp (1m, very soft) in October; handicap debut.
Finished third to the Lingfield Oaks Trial winner Miss Yoda (Dogged second) on penultimate start (Sandown, 1m good); off the mark on handicap debut thereafter (here, 1m1f heavy); 5lb rise since; one of three declared runners for Charlie Appleby.
Sent-off at odds of 50-1 when splitting Miss Yoda and Global Storm at Sandown (1m, good) last September, before making a winning course (1m) and handicap debut; will find this 1m2f trip comfortably within range based on his pedigree.
Dubawi colt; brother to the German Listed winner Nashirah (6f-7f); remains unbeaten after two starts on the AW (1m) so far this calendar year, although was hard pressed to score at odds of 1-5f at Newcastle; gelded since and merits consideration.
Enjoyed a productive juvenile season (2-3), with both victories coming over 1m on artificial surfaces (Kempton and Chelmsford); stable amongst the winners this week, albeit this gelding would need to take a further step forward on handicap debut.
Sea The Stars colt; has shown more than enough to suggest that he's capable of winning races with time (twice placed at this track; 1m-1m2f); vaguely informative to see how he fares on handicap debut, but is thought likely to find a few stronger.
Lope De Vega colt; too green to do himself justice on debut (on the July Course) but knew plenty more next time when justifying favouritism in a fair Chelmsford novice (1m); has the scope to improve further over 1m2f; likely to be a key player.
Took the scalp of Global Storm (improved markedly since) when scoring at Chelmsford (1m) last August; folded tamely from the furlong pole on nursery debut at Sandown (7f) later that month, and absent since; something to prove; others preferred.

An intriguing three-year-old handicap which will almost certainly be a race to monitor closely with the future in mind. A number of those declared have previous history (as juveniles), not least Encipher and Native Tribe. The former is expected to attract plenty of interest as he steps up markedly in trip on handicap debut for the Gosden and Dettori partnership. Native Tribe is joined by stablemates Global Storm (has clashed with both Dogged and Moolhim in the past) and the gelded Al Maysan. However, the suggested play is the Chelmsford novice winner VINDICATE who appears to have been brought along very steadily indeed by Sir Michael Stoute.
