Found his stride last year, picking up four wins in five starts during August/September (including over C&D). Beaten in valuable Ascot race on final outing (soft) but this less taxing. Took a while to get going last season and yard quiet so far.
Couple of wins last season, including a 43k pot at York in August over a mile. Previously 2-2 at this venue but has still got to defy the handicapper to score from this mark on seasonal return being 4lb above previous win-mark.
Runner-up at Leicester (6f, good to firm) and over C&D on first two starts of last year, mixed bag after before Musselburgh win (7f, soft) in October. Held in Listed Wolverhampton race in March but should get competitive now with yard flying.
Exposed runner, took a win at Goodwood (1m, heavy) in September but held afterwards and very best form has come with give in the ground. More required from this mark but booking of Oisin Murphy a positive.
6-23 on turf but was behind the likes of Qaysar and Blown By Wind at Haydock and Musselburgh (both 7f, soft) on final appearances last term. Easily held in pair of spring AW starts and others favoured now despite handicapper giving back 2lb.
Best known as a sprinter but ended 2019 with gutsy Chester success on first attempt over 7f. Just 3lb higher now and proven to go well when fresh; the old boy in this line-up but must be taken seriously.
Dark Angel colt, was 4-4 before finishing 3L third of six behind Qaysar over 7f on July Course on final start at three-years-old. Too keen in a steady run race that day, further progress now for a yard in good form won't be a big surprise.
Consistent last season but only managed lone success at Epsom (7f, good) in July for his troubles. Remains 4lb above that winning mark and likely to run well without scoring on return to action as such.

Veteran Sir Maximilian relished tackling 7f for the first time at Chester when last spotted and shouldn't be overlooked in haste, but he's got some up-and-coming rivals to worry about now. Qaysar made a habit of winning last season and had NAHAARR behind when doing so here on the July Course in August. The latter was keen then in a steady-run race having previously been unbeaten and is fancied to turn things around now with the Haggas team flying. Blown By Wind also represents a top yard going great guns and is shortlisted.
