Winner of a novice event over 1m at Newmarket (good) on debut in August and has run well in defeat in three subsequent outings. One to note on first start since finishing 6½L fourth in a 1m2f Group 1 at Saint-Cloud (heavy) in October.

BERKSHIRE ROCCO showed up well when finishing third in a Group 3 at Newmarket on his final start of last year and he is taken to register a victory in this competitive looking Derby Trial event. King Carney has already recorded a victory at this level when taking a soft ground event at Pontefract last autumn and he can take second place ahead of Sound Of Cannons who is dropping in grade.
