Forecasts

Cold Front (1/1), City Walk (2/1), Meraas (7/1), Perfect Focus (18/1), Al Hajees (20/1), Marietty (33/1), Captivated (50/1), Mosey (66/1), Fresh (80/1), Tagovailoa (125/1), Imperial Command (250/1), Salsa Dip (250/1)

Verdict

COLD FRONT was edged out in a 20-runner heavy-ground Newbury maiden on debut in the autumn having travelled strongly in the lead. The front pair had clear daylight from the pack, which has already thrown up a quartet of subsequent winners. William Haggas' smart-looking colt sets the standard on that effort and may go one better. Meraas, Captivated and City Walk are others with form to note, while Al Hajees and Fresh are noted newcomers.

  3. City Walk
