Free Eagle colt, cost 32,000 gns as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to French Derby runner-up. Cheekpieces on for debut not often a good sign but interesting on pedigree at least.
Rock Of Gibraltar gelding, cost 30,000 gns as a yearling. Promising debut over 7f here last year in a race that has worked out well and ought to relish this step up in trip on pedigree.
Gelded after finishing fourth of 10 (beaten 14L) on debut at Beverley. Step up in trip looks in his favour for his comeback run and any market support is worth noting.
Iffraaj gelding, dam closely related to a winner at this trip and a half-sister to a 6f winner. Tough ask on debut.
Australia colt, cost €160,000 as a yearling. Closely related to three winners including Group 2 winner Permian, dam a French Listed winner. Makes appeal on paper and respected ahead of debut.
War Front colt, half-brother to two winners and dam a dual Grade 1 winner including Breeders' Cup Filly and Mare Turf. Green on debut at Kempton but stuck to his task well and should improve for the step up in trip.
Nathaniel filly who has been tailed off in both starts to date, both at this venue; likely in need of more time.
Frankel filly who didn't find as much as looked likely at one stage when runner-up at Yarmouth on debut, splitting two other newcomers. Likely to have improved in the interim and step up in trip could help.
Mastercraftsman filly, cost 25,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to two winners and dam closely related to two middle distance Listed winners. Others preferred.

The well bred THIBAAN is expected to improve on a debut full of promise at Kempton and his trainer does well with his runners at this venue. The son of War Front is expected to appreciate a step up in trip here and the colt gets the vote in a wide open heat. Flames Of York is another with experience who should go well again while many will see Frankly Darling as the main danger after her debut at Yarmouth suggested she would benefit from a step up in trip. Hugo Palmer's Rocket Rod makes most appeal from the newcomers.
