Won the Listed City Walls Stakes at York in July, and carries a penalty for that. Ran respectably when fifth of 11 to Battaash in Nunthorpe Stakes last week, and has place claims despite a wider than ideal draw.
Better on AW than turf, although did win a 5f handicap at Pontefract in July. Disappointing when last of 8 at Chelmsford last time, though, and hard to fancy from the widest stall.
Has come back from an absence as good as ever this year, winning at Nottingham and Haydock and running well in defeat at Ascot twice. Hard to ignore in his current mood, for all he's yet to race here.
Has won both starts here, but arguably best on quicker ground, and he hasn't been at his best this season, finishing sixth of 9 to Battaash in the King George Stakes at Goodwood last time. Needs to step up.
Won a minor event over C&D in June, and good third to Battaash in King George Stakes at Goodwood early this month. Below form in face of staiff tasks twice since, but could easily bounce back for yard which won this in 2017 & 2018.
Enjoyed a productive 2018, winning four times and best effort this season when first home in unfavoured group in a 5½f handicap at York last time. Has a better chance here than his form figures imply.
All his wins have come with firm in the going description, and produced a career best back at 5f when beating Open Wide by 2½L at Ascot last time. Clear pick on that run, but needs the ground to dry out a little.
Best effort this season came when 1½L last of 3 behind Ornate and Final Venture here in June. Not pulled up any trees otherwise, and connections reach for blinkers now.
Needs soft conditions to be seen at her best, although ran a rare poor race in the mud at Haydock in June. Has missed engagements since due to unsuitable ground, and the type to bounce back assuming the going remains on the easy side.
Has improved since finishing last at York in June, winning 5f handicaps at Doncaster and Ripon. Taking a big step up here, but she doesn't have much to find on the clock.
Ornate is likely to put the pace to the race here, and he can't be ruled out having struggled to dominate in the face of stiff tasks the last twice, while that should help form pick Tis Marvellous who is drawn next to him, but no horse would be more deserving of the win here than DANZENO, who has run with huge credit all year, and is not so ground dependent as Clive Cox's fast-ground specialist.
