Beaten 1L in last year's Coventry and went on to Group 1 success in the Phoenix Stakes. Maybe didn't stay when second in an end of season Group 1 (7f) at Newmarket and while disappointing in the Guineas last time; he's interesting back at this trip.

Group 2 winner at Maisons-Laffitte (6f, soft) last year. Put a blip behind him on reappearance to beat Calyx at Haydock last time in four runner event. A literal reading of that form would make him a player but more likely that rival underperformed.

Won his first two starts in fine style and only narrowly denied by Ten Sovereigns in the Middle Park Stakes. Won a Listed race (7f) back at Newmarket on return and the runner-up has won a Group 3 subsequently. Each-way claims back down in trip.

Improved from a highly promising debut to win his next two starts and returned with a Listed win at Newbury next time out. That form hasn't been done any favours since but he's open to improvement; second string on jockey bookings.

Maiden winner on debut but hasn't won since and finished a long way behind Khaadem at Newbury last time in Listed class. Plenty more on his plate now and others preferred.

Impressive when winning a Goodwood Group 3 last year and not right when a market drifter next time at Doncaster (last of nine). Has something to find with Jash and Ten Sovereigns from a third in the Middle Park but may have more to give this year.

Won all three starts as a juvenile, improving from Group 3 company to win the Middle Park (Jash second). Beaten favourite but ran okay in the Guineas last time (inconvenienced by a track bias); remains a fascinating contender at a stiff 6f.

Respectable run in the Queen Mary last year and improved from a promising reappearance at Cork to win a Listed race at Haydock (6f, good to firm) last time. Big step up in class here though and no obvious sign she's ready for this level.

Listed winner as a juvenile but beaten in an AW Listed race on return and only third of four in a Haydock Group 2 behind Hello Youmzain last time out. Plenty more needed.

Forecasts

Ten Sovereigns (1/1), Jash (5/1), Hello Youmzain (6/1), Khaadem (7/1), Advertise (8/1), Rumble Inthejungle (16/1), Forever In Dreams (20/1), Royal Intervention (50/1), Konchek (50/1)

Verdict

TEN SOVEREIGNS looks sure to appreciate a drop back to sprinting here having failed to stay in the Guineas last time out and he showed enough in that performance to suggest he's trained on at three. Advertise is on a similar retrieval mission and may be able to bounce back over a course and distance he ran well at last year when only beaten one length in the Coventry by Calyx. Jash wasn't far behind the selection in last year's Middle Park and rates as the main danger having shaped like a drop in trip would be beneficial in his Listed win at Newmarket last time.
  1. Ten Sovereigns
  2. Jash
  3. Advertise
