Produced a career-best to defy to weight on his reappearance at Aintree (2m4f, good) last month. Up 7lb, but looks a class act and may have more to come now tried again over 3m. Claims.
All three of his rules wins have been at Wincanton on testing ground. Appears to handle good. Still early days. Step up in trip may help with improvement, and he appears to need some to be winning. Each-way player at the very least.
Looked like making into a good staying chaser, but things didn't quite happen for him. Respectable reappearance over hurdles at Ayr recently. Still on his last winning mark. New headgear combi could help. Each-way chance.
Placed in the last two renewals of this race (both on heavy). Was beaten just a neck here when 2lb higher (heavy) in February, but definite concerns over his chance on this much firmer surface.
An improving hurdler who backed up his Cheltenham reappearance win (2m5f, good) with an easy 9L Listed success when back there over 3m (good) last week. Carries a 5lb penalty, but that may not prevent the hat-trick.
Punchestown chase winner (3m4½f, heavy) in February and was a bit unlucky in the Irish National next time. Well held when last seen over hurdles in April, but goes well fresh and is interesting this mark with the champion booked.
Won a seller on his final start for Dr Richard Newland last year, but 0-7 for this stable and hard to fancy in a hot race from this mark.

First Assignment (11/10), Captain Cattistock (7/2), Paisley Park (4/1), Bobo Mac (7/1), Folsom Blue (11/1), Theo's Charm (12/1), Shades Of Midnight (20/1), Milrow (50/1)
It is hard to get away from the improving FIRST ASSIGNMENT, whose runaway Cheltenham success over this trip last week suggests that he can defy a 5lb penalty and complete a hat-trick. Paisley Park and Captain Cattistock could both make a race of it, while Shades Of Midnight is not out of it, and Folsom Blue is also respected.
