Won at this level on his reappearance at Leicester in April. Has put in a couple of very respectable efforts in Group company since. Out of sorts last time, but drop back to this grade entitles him to plenty of respect.
Triple Listed winner who went very close in a Haydock Group 3 in June. Arrives on the back of a Lingfield conditions win last time. Consistent and a leading player here.
Has contested just one pattern race in 40 starts, being well beaten in a Haydock Group 3 in June. Still a thoroughly decent handicapper, however, and won a Class 2 at Newmarket last time in what was a career-best. Respected, but a bit more needed.
Was a 4½L second in this at 33-1 last year. That, plus his recent 6½f Doncaster Class 2 win (at 25-1) suggest that, while his overall form is short of the mark for this, he can have days good enough to give him an each-way shout again.
Debut win at Nottignham last year remains his only one. Has not come on this year as might have been anticipated. Tailed off last time and plenty more needed.
Won a Group 3 last year (7f, soft), but has lost his way a little this term. Probably needs some rain, but beaten over 5L at this level last time out and on recent evidence he makes no more than each-way appeal.
Won on his only start at two. Yet to add to that, but has put together a largely very solid campaign so far this year. Drop to this level could help. More needed than on last two starts, but could be a serious contender here.
Dual Listed winner, the latter over this trip on fast ground at Carlisle in June. Carries penalty in this and needs to pull out more to win again, but not ruled out each-way.
Won a Class 3 at Doncaster (7f, good to firm) in July, but held in all three starts since then and hard to see her being up to this.
Forecasts
Tabarrak (2/1), Muntadab (7/2), Raid (9/2), Emmaus (5/1), Dance Diva (16/1), Great Prospector (20/1), Nebo (20/1), Picture No Sound (33/1), Von Blucher (33/1), Dark Intention (33/1), Florenza (50/1)
Emmaus should appreciate the drop back to this grade and should be thereabouts once again, while similar comments apply to the less-exposed Raid, who is very interesting. However, TABARRAK is nothing if not consistent. He goes well on fast ground, this is his optimum trip and he looks capable of backing up his latest success. Dance Diva, Nebo and Muntadab make each-way appeal.
