Took a big step forward from debut to win at Ayr on heavy ground last month. Drop back in trip not certain to be ideal on that basis and conceding weight to this field won't be easy.
Won his first two starts but hasn't really kicked on subsequently and has plenty on his plate here giving weight away to those who have achieved more. Needs to improve for the step back up in trip here.
Impressive winner on debut but he's failed to build on that in two runs since. Needs to improve if he's going to play a part here.

Impressive winner of a small field handicap at Wolverhampton two starts back and didn't really get a clear run in a similar event to this at Doncaster last time. Both wins have come over 7f though and may not have the speed for this.
Performed with credit on debut at Ascot but disappointed on second start at Newbury. While the return to better ground should suit, he has a fair bit to prove here.
Sole win came on AW at Kempton. Has been a bit hit and miss since and drop back in trip is not certain to suit but produced his best effort yet behind a promising sort at Newbury last time over 7f.
Impressive when winning her maiden at Chester and has shaped a little better than the bare results in three starts since. Quite possible there's more to come over this sort of trip and the yard won this last year.
Improved from debut to be beaten just 1L at Beverley last time. The drop back in trip is sure to suit but may improve for the fitting of first-time cheekpieces.
Unplaced on each of his six starts and more exposed than plenty of these. Easily opposable.
Performed with credit on both his starts at Beverley before improving to win at Carlisle when stepped up in trip. Form of that race nothing special but should continue to improve.

Showed very little on debut and unseated next time at Newcastle on her second start. Too keen back at that course on third and final start but that run wasn't devoid of promise and should have learnt plenty from that.
Shown nothing in two starts to date, slowly away at Brighton last time out and he's hard to make a case for down in trip. Already gelded.
Has improved with each start and posted a respectable placed effort at Brighton last time out in maiden company. However, sizable step forward needed to figure here.
Struggling to land a blow at a much lower level than this in four starts to date and draw unlikely to be ideal in this contest. Hard to fancy.
Produced an encouraging debut on the July course here but he's gone backwards since and he didn't beat a rival home at Leicester last time. Has it all to do in first-time tongue-tie.
One win from eight career starts so far. Has been a beaten short priced favourite on each of his last two outings at a lower level than this and hard to fancy on that basis.

Has been plying her trade at Listed/Group level of late and holding her own. Hard to beat if she turns up in that sort of form again here but there's a slight concern her best efforts have come with cut in the ground.
Produced a much better effort on handicap debut last time out but would have to improve in a big way again here. Yard won this last year.

Gypsy Spirit obviously warrant plenty of respect given her official rating in receipt of weight from all here but it might be worth taking a chance on LORTON who was taking big steps forward with every run when last seen. Lihou may represent some each-way value and ran well when last seen behind a smart sort.
