Won twice last year including a Listed race at Doncaster. Would be the type to typically progress for this yard this season but there's a concern he's been below par in two runs this year and all his best form has come with cut in the ground.

Consistent sort who was only just touched off by a progressive sort in a Newmarket Group 3 at the start of the campaign. Appreciated the drop in class when winning at Beverley last time but may just find a one or two too good here.

Inconsistent these days and not won since 2016. Has won at this level but not the force of old and he's opposable despite a respectable effort in a Group 3 at Naas last time in Listed class.

Has won plenty of prize money in his time with a valuable sales race at Doncaster on his CV along with a couple of valuable handicaps more recently. Tends to struggle a little at pattern level though and he would need a career best to win this.

Three-time Group 2 winner, most recently at Chantilly last year and back to form with a Haydock Listed success last time. More than capable of making his presence felt here and he will be hard to beat provided granted some luck in running.

Progressing at some speed of late and has won three of his last four starts including two C&D wins, most recently a Listed success last month. Yard do well with their sprinters and he gives the impression there's more to come. Each-way claims.

Won at York on return to action this year but finished some way behind reopposing Haddaf here last time out and has a bit to prove at this level. Well drawn but not always the quickest away and others preferred.

Group performer as a juvenile but the suspicion is that his age group have caught up with him to some extent now. Produced a better effort behind Haddaf last time when fourth of 10 but has work on to reverse the form and no obvious excuses that day.

Won a Group 3 on debut for this yard but hasn't won since. Produced a much better performance in a Royal Ascot Group 1 last time but the suspicion is that she's better over 6f and she may find this speed test a bit sharp.

Outrun her odds when placed behind Haddaf here last month from a poor draw but failed to back that up in Listed class at Ayr next time out. Draw far from ideal again and likely to struggle here.

Forecasts

Judicial (4/1), Muthmir (9/2), Dream Of Dreams (9/2), Different League (5/1), Mr Lupton (13/2), Haddaf (7/1), Sound And Silence (14/1), Koditime (16/1), Mirza (50/1), Tricksy Spirit (50/1)

Verdict

MUTHMIR is the class horse in the race with three Group 2 wins to his name and he was impressive when sticking to his task in game fashion at Haydock last time out. His hold up style requires a bit of luck in running but he will be hard to beat if he's anything close to his best. Haddaf is highly progressive and had several of these runners in behind over course and distance last time, he rates as the main danger. Judicial is a consistent sort who is likely to run his race again and while vulnerable to a couple, can run his race again.
