Won just once in 15 starts; over 5f at Catterick in April 2017, but is a largely reliable filly. Likely to run another sound race but others appeal more for win purposes.
Just the one win from 14 attempts to date on turf, went close penultimate start at Lingfield over 6f, albeit in a lesser grade. Not as good since on firm ground.
Lightly-raced sort, scored over 7f at Ascot last summer on good to soft ground. Showed consistent level of form thereafter without winning. Returns from a break and has questions to answer as regards the ground.
Would have ended his losing run had he not been disqualified (first past the post) at Catterick in May (6f, good) off what was then a career-low mark. Consistent since but seems to find ways of getting done these days.
Won a couple of these events last year and his last two wins have come with today's rider on board. Slipped back below his last winning mark now and it would be no surprise to see this previous C&D winner bounce back to form.
Hasn't won since August 2016 over this trip on similar ground at Hamilton, better effort back there last month over same trip on likely going. Not ruled out if building on that.
CLIFF is on a respectable handicap mark and knows his way around in this grade. He is a former C&D winner and could be up to landing this opener. Picks Pinta showed up well at Hamilton last time and isn't ruled out while the consistent Extrasolar is likely to go well but does find winning a task in itself.
