An AW winner on turf on his debut he's run respectably in two further starts since running into a couple of decent sorts on each occasion. Best form has come at 5f although he might have needed the run last time over 6f; little more needed though.

Winner on his only start for Ivan Furtado over 5f at Doncaster he caused a little bit of a surprise but won nicely looking all speed though. Now with a new yard it will be interesting to see how he gets on here; looks open to progress.

Made a winning start to her career over 6f at Ripon (bred to stay further) and it remains to be seen how she takes to this stiff 5f. She did win with authority though and there is bound to be some improvement to come.

The sole newcomer in the field who cost 130,000 guineas as a yearling and looks speedily bred (by Swiss Spirit out of a dam who was a half-sister to the smart 6f performer The Trader). Will have to see what the market makes him on debut.

Very little if any worthwhile form in four outings so far and looks hopelessly outclassed here having just a rating of 15. Would be a major shock if he beat any of these having been beaten 29L last time.

Forecasts

Verdict

An awkward finale with four of the five being given a chance of winning this and two of them last time out winners. Nearest Green is the most experienced of these and already has attained a rating of 87 and should appreciate this move back to 5f. Terrier Spirit looks all speed and now with Richard Fahey this stiff 5f might just find him out and with the drop to 5f not sure to suit Queens Gift a chance is taken that the newcomer ALQAAB can make a winning debut especially as the Haggas team have a good record here.
