Won a Newbury maiden on debut and ran well in a novice event at Nottingham when third of 17 in May. Improved again to win a Listed race at Longchamp and yard in flying form and do well with their fillies. Plenty to find on form though.

Improved from debut to win on second start for Sir Michael Stoute and justified favouritism at Newmarket last time when stepped up 7f. Needs a lot more here and while hard to fancy, the yard's fillies can improve plenty in between runs.

Progressive juvenile last year and took a huge step forward from her reappearance when an impressive winner of the Irish 1,000 Guineas. Runner-up from that ran well in defeat here on Wednesday and that's up there with the best form on offer here.

Group 3 winner as a juvenile and returned with a Listed success at Newmarket in April. 6L seventh in the 1,000 Guineas but produced a better effort at Epsom last time back down in a Group 3 and there's a suspicion we're yet to see the best of her.

Won a Group 3 as a juvenile but took her form to a whole new level when winning the 1,000 Guineas last time. There was no fluke about that effort despite her odds of 66/1 that day and runner-up has won twice in Group 1 class since. The one to beat.

Progressed through the ranks well as a juvenile, winning her final start of 2017 in Group 1 company at Newmarket in the Cheveley Park. Well beaten in the Irish 1,000 Guineas on return but should improve for that run and yard have won this last year.

Won a French Listed race as a juvenile and returned with a Group 3 win at Deauville. Narrowly denied last time by re-opposing Teppal in the French 1,000 Guineas and she's clearly one going the right way but may have preferred softer ground here.

Ran well in a maiden and placed in a novice event at Haydock last time but it would take a huge leap of faith to see her getting involved at this level.

Arrives here unbeaten after her win in the French 1,000 Guineas last time on her third start and had a couple of these in behind. May be able to confirm the form with those rivals but she has more on her plate here with the other Guineas winners.

Won a Group 2 at York as a juvenile and she was a wide margin winner of a Listed race at York last time. However, that wasn't a strong affair and it's likely she will need to take her form to a whole new level to have any say here.

Improved from her debut to win her maiden by 4L and the runner-up has boosted that form in Meydan subsequently but she would need to have improved plenty in the interim to have any sort of say up at this level.

Runner-up behind the subsequent Guineas winner in a Group 3 at Goodwood last year and won a novice event at Lingfield on return in Class 5 company but she's not shown enough to suggest she can mix it at this level.

Alpha Centauri (11/4), Clemmie (4/1), Billesdon Brook (9/2), Threading (7/1), Teppal (7/1), Coeur De Beaute (10/1), Capla Temptress (12/1), Veracious (14/1), Anna Nerium (20/1), Adorable (20/1), Aim Of Artemis (33/1), Whitefountainfairy (50/1), Nkosikazi (100/1)

Verdict

A high class renewal of the race with multiple Group 1 winners in the line up and it's the Newmarket 1,000 Guineas who makes most appeal. BILLESDON BROOK put on a dominant display to beat subsequent French Oaks winner Laurens that day and the form of that contest looks rock solid; with the possibility of even more improvement to come, she's taken to land her second Group 1 success. Teppal is respected in her bid to maintain her unbeaten record after her French 1,000 Guineas win last time while Clemmie may be capable of reversing the Irish 1,000 Guineas form with Alpha Centauri that run under her belt.
