First Samurai filly, cost $125,000 as a yearling. Half-sister to four winners including a Listed winner on dirt. Justified favouritism in fine fashion in a dirt maiden at Keeneland and yard's runners worthy of the utmost respect at this meeting.

Kodiac filly, cost €80,000 as a yearling and 360,000 gns as a Breeze-up purchase. Dam a half-sister to a Listed winner. Green on debut here but made no mistake at Windsor last time. Should improve again and a leading contender here.

Bungle Inthejungle filly, cost €7,500 as a yearling. Half-sister to a juvenile winner. Narrowly beaten on debut and got her head in front on third start at Lingfield last time. That level of form would appear to be levels below what's required here.

Kyllachy filly, cost 32,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to two moderate winners over this trip. Dam a 7f winner as a juvenile. Has run with promise on each of her three runs but she would need a huge step forward to figure here.

Dream Ahead filly, half-sister to a juvenile winner. Dam a half-sister to a Group 1 winning sprinter. Has won both her starts in France getting the better of her stablemate last time out over 6f. Might not want 5f on fast ground on that evidence.

Haatef filly, dam a winner over 1m. Improving with each start and outran her odds at Salisbury last time in heavy ground. This will prove to be a completely different test on contrasting ground though.

Kuroshio filly, half-sister to four winners including Prix de l'Abbaye winner. Did it the hard way from the front at Sandown on debut and will have learnt plenty from that. Should go well for a yard that do well with sprinters.

Garswood filly, cost 45,000 gns as a yearling. Half-sister to a winner and dam a Listed winner over 5f as a juvenile. All speed in her pedigree and while Carlisle win on debut isn't the strongest form, the yard are flying and improvement likely.

No Nay Never filly, cost €50,000 as a yearling. Pedigree points to her wanting further than this and she was impressive when winning a Listed race at Naas last time. Form franked since and stiff track will help with the trip.

Kodiac filly, cost €40,000 as a yearling. Dam a half-sister to 6f Listed winner. Winner on debut and finished behind a couple of these in a Listed race at York last time but this is clearly tougher and may struggle to reverse the York form alone.

Forecasts

Chelsea Cloisters (10/3), Shades Of Blue (5/1), Servalan (13/2), Kurious (7/1), So Perfect (8/1), Forever In Dreams (8/1), Come On Leicester (20/1), Little Kim (20/1), Signora Cabello (25/1), Gossamer Wings (25/1), Second Generation (25/1), Kodyanna (33/1), Red Balloons (33/1), Daphinia (33/1), Snazzy (40/1), Yolo Again (50/1), Shumookhi (100/1), Country Rose (100/1), Deia Glory (100/1), Luchador (150/1), Global Goddess (200/1), Haats Off (200/1)

Verdict

Clive Cox won last year's renewal of this race and Shades Of Blue did nothing wrong in her course and distance win on debut and the form of that run has been franked by both the second and third since. However, preference is for SO PERFECT who wasn't seen to best effect last time when she met some trouble in running over 6f but is expected to leave that effort behind here and reverse the form with Servalan. Chelsea Cloisters represents Wesley Ward whose runners are always respected here and there was plenty to like about her debut performance.
