Blinkered for the first time when bouncing back to form at Chelmsford last time. Had previously run well at Newmarket and is one to seriously consider in his current mood.

Behind Love Dreams wen fifth of 14 on his reappearance run at Newmarket. Should come on for the outing and has shown a liking for this track in the past. .

Won over this trip at Newbury last August, but could not add to that success off higher marks. Not beaten that far when 10th of 13 on return to action at Lingfield in March and his shrewd stable is always to be respected in these races.

Second to Squats at Newbury last August and followed that up by justifying favouritism at Leicester. Probably needed his reappearance run in a hot contest at Newbury and can do better.

Bidding for a hat-trick after decisive wins at Doncaster and Catterick. Up 10lb for those wins, but has to be short-listed from a good draw and with underfoot conditions likely to suit.

Successful on the AW at Wolverhampton in January, but has drawn a blank in decent company since. Well held in a Listed contest at Kempton last time and will be more at home back in a handicap.

Sound efforts at Newcastle and Lingfield on last two starts. Return to turf will suit and any drying of the ground is a plus. Useful back-up to stable companion Right Action.

On a long losing streak, but is a C&D winner who shaped well at Newmarket last time when Love Dreams was second. Down to his last winning mark and can be given an each-way chance.

Fair effort to finish third to an improving sort at Haydock over 1m last time. Down 2lb and return to 7f is not a problem. Needs to break well from his inside stall. Stable also saddles Love Dreams.

Enjoying a golden autumn to his career with four straight wins on the Southwell Fibresand. Returns to turf on a stiff mark, however, and looks to be up against it.

Three wins when trained by Michael Bell and first start for current yard saw him finish behind Medahim, Donncha and Love Dreams at Newmarket. Did not get a clear run that day, however, and left the impression he is capable of better.

Poor strike rate of 2-36 and latest effort at Newmarket over 1m was only fair. Capable off this sort of mark, but best recent displays have been over further than this contest.

Veteran performer who is a winner over C&D. Well beaten at Doncaster when last seen in the autumn and looks vulnerable to younger legs off 2lb lower.

Not at her best on the AW recently, but finished second in this race last year off 2lb higher. Well handicapped on that effort if return to turf sparks a revival.

Forecasts

Love Dreams (9/2), Masham Star (9/2), Donncha (8/1), Medahim (8/1), Right Action (8/1), Squats (8/1), Gallipoli (10/1), Taurean Star (12/1), Mutawathea (14/1), The Warrior (20/1), Make Music (20/1), Pastoral Player (25/1), Graphite Storm (25/1), Summer Icon (33/1), Mister Music (33/1)

Verdict

The hat-trick seeking Right Action has solid claims and is just preferred to stable companion Gallipoli, and it's a similar case for another Northern yard with Masham Star marginally favoured over top-weight Love Dreams. Medahim and Squats hail from top yards and are respected, but a chance is taken with last year's second, MAKE MUSIC, who has not got an ideal draw, but is well treated if the return to turf proves beneficial. Taurean Star is rated higher than his display last time suggests and can chase home the selection, while Donncha and Graphite Storm are also respected.
